Re-Opening Updates

Phase 2 Re-Opening Guidelines Begin June 22, 2020

  • Rathbun Lake Area YMCA permitted; Nationwide Reciprocity will be allowed; no daily guest passes at this time
  • Age 16+ permitted
  • Age 15 and younger permitted with adult’s direct supervision
  • Members will verify that they have not been exposed to COVID-19 nor have shown symptoms in the last 14 days
  • Social Distancing MUST be followed with members and staff throughout the facility
  • Water refill stations are available; no drinking fountain usage
  • No hot tub or sauna
  • No towel service
  • Pool is open for lap swimming and water walking by reservation
  • Face masks required for patrons on pool deck
  • Family/Group swim by reservation Sundays 12:00pm – 1:30pm and 2:00pm-3:30pm
  • Swim lessons are socially distanced with instructors on deck
  • Locker rooms will be open according to schedule with limited capacity and social distancing; closure for periodic disinfecting; no locker rental
  • Wearing of face masks encouraged in common areas (entrance, hallways, locker rooms)
  • Follow equipment usage signs; every other cardio or circuit machine will be used
  • All equipment (machines, weights, benches, etc) must be wiped with disinfectant wipes before and after use
  • Occupancy restricted by room
  • Group exercise implemented with with class size limits and social distancing
  • No items to be left at front desk
  • Business offices closed to non-staff
  • Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday 5:00am – 6:00pm, Saturday 9:00am – 12:00pm, Sunday 12:00pm – 4:00pm

Detailed Guidelines for Area of the Y

FRONT ENTRY

  • Please follow social distancing signs, instructions and markings
  • COVID-19 waiver must be signed for every person
  • Face masks encouraged
  • Sanitize hands
  •  Scan in at front desk
  • Check out at front desk when exiting the building

CARDIO ROOM

  • Occupancy Limit 10
  • Machines will be restricted to every other machine. Members are required to keep an open machine between themselves and another – follow signage

GYM SPACE

  • Occupancy limit 10
  • Members must bring own basketballs
  • No pickup games allowed; no contact allowed
  • Limit of 3 people per basket

STUDIO/CLASSROOM

 

  • Occupancy Limit 6
  • Yoga mats will not be provided; please bring own mats
  • Please disinfect bikes, equipment after use
  • On Demand workouts available 

POOL

  • Lap Swimming and water walking by reservation
  • Patrons on deck must wear face masks
  • Swim Lessons
  • Water Aerobics – class limit 10
  • Bring own towels
  • Belongings may be hung on hooks 

LOCKER ROOMS

  • Occupancy limit 10
  • Lockers may be used to store items during visit, but must be taken upon leaving – no rentals at this time
  • Locker rooms will be closed and disinfected according to schedule
  • Due to size and nature of locker rooms, we request the wearing of masks, social distancing and time in locker rooms be as brief as possible
