Flag Football
YMCA Flag Football is a great introduction to the sport. Players will learn the fundamentals and rules during practice and be able to put it all together with Saturday scrimmages (if there are enough players, we will do our best to make this happen!). They will also learn what it means to be a good teammate and a good sport. This season (2023) we are trying separate girls and boys teams!
FALL 2023 DETAILS:

REGISTRATION DEADLINE:REGISTRATION FOR FLAG FOOTBALL HAS BEEN EXTENDED, ONLINE ONLY, UNTIL MONDAY 4TH, 11:59 PM. DUE TO YMCA BEING CLOSED FOR HOLIDAY WEEKEND. (FROM THE ORIGINAL DEADLINE OF FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 1ST)
- TEAMS: 1st & 2nd graders and 3rd & 4th graders (girls and boys separate)
- 2023 SEASON: September 12th – October 21st (6 weeks)
- PRACTICE: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 PM
– Subject to change based on volunteer coach availability. - LOCATION: at the All Play fields – E Green St, Centerville, IA 52544
- FEES: Members $34, Non-Members $55
- JERSEYS: $16 for a set of light blue and gold jerseys
– YMCA Jerseys are reusable from sport to sport. No need to buy new ones if you already have some that fit!
*Minimum of 5 registrants.
*Practice days/times subject to change based on volunteer coach availability.
